Oh happy day everyone!!
Thank you so much for stopping by today. I am sharing a fun card I made today with alcohol inks.
Isn't this card so fun?? On Yupo paper, I started by using the three new shades of green alcohol inks from Tim Holtz and Ranger. They are my favorite greens by far. I used blending solution and my ink blower to move the ink around. After it dried I added a rectangle border I made using two rectangle dies to make a frame. I die cut two hello's one in black and one in white. I glued the two together and added it to the center of my card.
As you can see up close the off set hello makes it look like there is a shadow behind the white hello. It is an easy little trick to add dimension to your card. Doesn't this card make a big impact with little effort?
Here is another look at my finished card ...
I have so much fun playing with these alcohol inks. If you have never given it a try you should ... they are addictive. I will be sharing another card tomorrow. A smoky one if you will ...
Thank you for spending some of your crafty time with me!!
Until next time ... hugs & inky fingers!
