Oh happy day everyone!!

Just a quick scene building card with a stamp set from Lawn Fawn called Elphie Selfie.  I love this cute little set.  There is so much you can do with it.  I added a couple tiny gems to the flash portion of the cell phone.  Cute right?  This card came together in under 30 minutes even with the coloring. Doesn't the polka dot paper make it look like they are at a picnic?

Thank you for spending some of your crafty time with me!!

Until next time ... hugs & inky fingers!

Oh happy day everyone!!

I am hoping on quick to share a fun sparkly "congrats" card with you ...

I started by layering my turquoise and gray paper onto my white card base.  I did all of this while my stenciled Glitz was drying.

Now for the fun part ... The stenciled Glitz Gel.  I started by ink blending my Autumn Wishes stencil with two shades of blue.  From there I added the Iridescent Glitter Glitz from Gina K Designs to the top of my ink blended stencil.

Once dried I glued it to my silver card stock.  I die cut my "Congrats" twice from the same turquoise paper I used for my card base and glued them together.  I die cut it a third time from the same silver paper I used for my card base as well.  I glued that on to of the turquoise ones and attached the whole thing to my card from. Does't it give it tons of dimension by stacking them like that? I finished it off by gluing some white iridescence pearls to the card and that was it ...

Here is one more look at the full card.

Thank you for spending some of your crafty time with me!!

Until next time ... hugs & inky fingers!

My World Is Better With You In It!

Thursday, July 9, 2020
Oh happy day everyone!!

I started off by using my Pinstripe Background Stamp from Concord & 9th.  It is normally a diagonal stripe but I turned it in my Misti and made it a horizontal stamp.  I stamped in a sand color.  And from there started with my focal point of my card ... The Mondo Peony from Ellen Hutson.

For my Mondo Peony. I heat embossed it with Rose Gold Embossing Powder.  I colored it with Ken Oliver Color Bursts and added my Liquid Pixie Dust in a few layers over the to to really make it shimmer.  I added shades of green sequin confetti to give my card added texture.  This was a card that came together quick. But holds a big punch.

As you can see I trimmed an inch off of the card front.  I wanted to do something a little different.  I added a thin black strip to where the card top ends and the card bottom starts.  I  based everything off of the size of my sentiment. The sentiment "My World Is Better With You In It" is from   This way when the recipient opens the card the black strip and sentiment are showing.
Here is one more look at the full card  ...

Thank you so much for stopping by and spending a little craft time with me.

Until next time ... hugs & inky fingers!

Retro Thank you!

Oh happy day everyone!!

As soon as I seen this pinstripe background stamp, I knew it had to be mine.

Isn't the pinstripe mesmerizing?  I just love it. It is called Pinstripe Background and it is from Concord & 9th.  So I stamped it repeatedly in rainbow colors.  I just shifted my paper a tad and stamped the next color.  Fun technique to get the most out of your stamps. Form there I used the Big & Little Chain Rectangle Die from Gina Marie Designs to give my paper some character.  I mounted that to a black piece of card stock and mounted the whole thing to my white card base.

I had a circle already cut out of black card stock in my stash. I mounted it to my stripe panel.  I had some silver glitter paper that I used my In and Out Cut Stud Dot Circle from Gina Marie Designs to cut another smaller circle and mounted it to my black circle.  I then cut my Rainbow Thank You Die from Waffle Flower. I cut it twice once from black and once from teal card stock.  I layered them and raised it on my circle with foam tape.

I finished off my card with some enamel dots from Gina Marie Designs.  I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, her enamel dots.  They come in every color under the sun.  I am always able to find matching ones for whatever my project it.

Here is one more look at the finished card ...

I think it is so fun and cheery!  I am a sucker for a good background. Thank you so much for stopping by.

Until next time ... hugs & inky fingers!

Thinking of You Silhouette!

Tuesday, July 7, 2020
Oh happy day everyone!

This is probably my favorite card at the moment.  I made it a while ago but never shared it.  I think I wanted to hoard it for myself.  LOL!

Isn't it stunning?  I think the Winter Leaves make the whole card.  I started by using Distress Ink on my card base.  I wanted to look like a sunset so the silhouette really stood out against it.

I inked my Winter Leaves Stencil with black ink.  From there I tool it to my Scan N Cut to cut out all of my leaves.  Didn't they turn out great? I cut out my dotted circle from  Gina Marie Designs.  I glued my Winter Leaves to the front of my white die cut panel. I stamped and cut out my "Thinking Of You" sentiment and added to the front of my panel just barely over the stem of my Winter Leaves.

For something a little different because I didn't want to use foam tape, I wanted more depth to the card.  So what I did was trim 1/8" - 1/4" off of my panel and glued it so the top lined up with the top card base and the bottom lined up with the card base bottom causing the arch in the middle of my card.  I love it by the way; turned out perfect!

I finished off the inside with another sentiment from The Ton. These Easy Expressions sentiment die cuts are the bomb!! I added some enamel dots to the front as well.

Once again here is the full card front ...

Until next time ... hugs & inky fingers!

Have A FABULOUS Day!

Sunday, July 5, 2020
Oh happy day everyone!!

I am jumping on here quick to share a fun card I made using the Inkon3 Dogwood Flower stamp set.  I am a sucker for a good flower, and the Dogwood trees are one of my favorites.

I colored the whole image on Bristol with Karin Pro Brush Markers and a water brush.

It is a pretty straight forward 4x4 square card.  I added a diagonal stripe to the left side of the card.  Stamped my sentiment in the bottom right, which is three stamps btw. I popped my Dogwood Flower up with foam tape and then finished it off with Liquid Pixie Dust and enamel dots.

Here is a close up of the Liquid Pixie Dust.  It is always so hard to photography the shimmer.  Trust me it sure SHIMMERS!!

Here is one more of the finished card!!  Thank you so much for stopping by and spending a little time out of your day with me!!!

Until next time ... Hugs & inky fingers!!
