Happy Saturday everyone!!
Are you a Kindred Stamps fan? I am sharing a few cards I made using the Building Blocks stamp set and the Comic Dot stencil. Isn't this an adorable set? I am sharing 3 quick and easy cards I made for you.
Aren't these fun? I had a few different ideas in my head but then I remembered building blocks are primary in color and are pretty straight forward; they do what they do ... BUILD. So I channeled my inner kid and this is what I came up with.
For this card I stamped random blocks in multiple colors for the background. I attached my background to a green card base. I cut two oval pieces in different sizes. On the smaller one I stamped my sentiment and two little block pieces. I raised a green block off the page with foam tape. I centered my sentiment onto the center of my background piece.
For my second card. I also used the same green card base. On my white piece cut smaller than my background I stamped my two block people. I colored them with Copics; very primary I might add. I added the block heart in between them and colored that as well. From there I masked off my two people and heart. I stenciled my background with the Comic Dots Stencil in gray.
For my last card I am sharing today I once again used a green card base. This time the only green showing is down the left and right side if my vertical card. I started by randomly stamping the flower block in a light gray all over my background. I cut an oval out of the to center of my white piece. and behind it I stamped a bunch more of the colored blocks. I placed my sentiment in the bottom center portion of the card. I finished it off with some gems that matched the colored blocks.
Once again here are all three cards together. I hope I was able to give you some inspiration today using the Building Block stamp set along with the Comic Dot Stencil.
